Rob, the owner of Structural Solutions of Denver, LLC was very thorough in the explanation of our encapsulation of a crawl space. He ensured us the foundation was very solid and no other problems had to be solved except for the encapsulation. Rob sent his team (Salvador, Sergio and Jose’ ) to do the work. This team was very professional, on time, polite, respectful of the property and appreciated the chance to do the work. When I think of team concept, there is no other team that I have been associated with that worked so well and efficient together. The team of Salvador, Sergio and Jose’ did an outstanding job and it shows everywhere in the crawl space, the quality of work that they do. They did an excellent job in their clean up work; bagged and removed the old insulation without leaving insulation all over the walkway and crawl space. This team worked approximately 12 hours each day. They worked tirelessly, very fast, joyful and willing to explain any questions/concerns that I had. Once again, to Rob and his team Salvador, Sergio and Jose’ I can not thank you enough for the wonderful job that you did on the encapsulation on my duplex. Travis came out to assess the project and made follow up visits ahead of the contract to fully answer our questions. He was very patient as this was a project requiring 21 piers affecting our home and three connected decks, as well as a new sump pump that ties into our radon system, and we had lots of questions. It was a necessary investment in our property for its value and safety, so we had a lot of nerves about it.

We had only two surprises on this large project. Our decks needed piers but the crew noticed the previous deck builder didn’t put in caissons adequately (very shallow, about 18 inches to support a section with a large hot tub), so this team worked extra hours to pour new caissons to go over the piers, plus a caisson that wasn’t getting a pier and wasn’t part of the original bid, but there was no extra charge for that. The other surprise was that the home builder hadn’t made the foundation deep enough in one area and an additional part was needed to get support deep enough into the ground. We were not charged extra for these unforeseen items. So, these ended up being good surprises in that we incurred no additional costs. It speaks to this team’s integrity and pride in work.

In addition, they provided specialty service for the deck to be rebuilt after the structural work was done. Rather than just having the structural guys reassemble the deck, we had someone dedicated to deck work and the aesthetics of that type of finishing.
